Nanoneedles on tour: Suzhou, CityU and HKU
Ciro gave an invited talk on nanoneedles for spatiotemporal omics at Cold Spring Harbor Asia's Frontiers in Single-Cell and Spatial Omics in Suzhou, then presented our work at City University of Hong Kong and the University of Hong Kong.

Over the past two weeks, Ciro took the lab’s nanoneedle research to China and Hong Kong.
Cold Spring Harbor Asia, Suzhou. Ciro was an invited speaker at Frontiers in Single-Cell and Spatial Omics (19–23 October), organised by Prof. Woong-Yang Park, Prof. Fuchou Tang, Prof. Thierry Voet and Prof. Siyuan (Steven) Wang. He presented the lab’s work on nanoneedles for spatiotemporal omics: sampling living cells and tissues repeatedly to follow biology over time and space.
City University of Hong Kong. On 26 October Ciro gave the College of Biomedicine seminar Exploring Cells with Nanoneedles, hosted by Prof. Peng Shi and Prof. Alejandro Carnicer Lombarte. The talk covered how nanoneedles deliver genetic material, proteins and nanoparticles into hard-to-reach cells such as stem and immune cells, and how they sample living cells and tissues with minimal disruption to track disease progression and treatment response.

The University of Hong Kong. Ciro then presented the work at the Department of Pharmacology and Pharmacy, LKS Faculty of Medicine, hosted by Prof. Khuloud Al-Jamal and Prof. Weiping Wang.
