Cure EB features NanoCure: nanoneedle bandages for EB gene therapy
Cure EB has released a video of Ciro describing NanoCure, the charity-funded project developing nanoneedle bandages to deliver collagen VII gene therapy.
Cure EB, which funds the project, has published a video in which Ciro explains NanoCure: a bandage covered in painless nanoneedles that delivers a working copy of the COL7A1 gene into skin cells, aiming to restore type VII collagen in recessive dystrophic epidermolysis bullosa. The project is preparing the bandage for a first-in-human study.
